My name is Mr. Wolfe. I really enjoy spending time with my family. I like hiking, kayaking, family movie nights, and walking our dog (the photos above are of my family and a trip to Switzerland for a family reunion. The other is of me running in a recent race). I enjoy running and running races a lot. This summer one of the books I enjoyed was The Land of Stories by Chris Colfer. I enjoy books with a lot of suspense & adventure. I also read Love Does by Bob Goff, and quite a few Runner's World magazines.
I look forward to reading your first BLOG comments & meeting you at Back to School Night on Tuesday, August 27th. Our classroom will be open from 6:00-7:00pm. The Lowell Barbecue starts at 5:00pm.

My name is Adelaide. I like to read, sketch, write, and hang out with my friends. Some books I read this summer were; the Phoebe and her Unicorn series, Keeper of the Lost Cities #1, and the Essential Calvin and Hobbes. I have a puppy almost 5 months old who is a big wimp. She is a cavachon which is a mix between a King Cavalier Spaniel and a Beachon Frise. We love her a lot, but she sure is naughty!
By the way, Jeremy is my dad. We are following you.

We have a dog too; she's a little naughty too, but we sure love having her around! I look forward to seeing you on Tuesday at Open House.

Hi Mr. Wolfe,
My name is Lily. I read books this summer. One was a graphic novel called Summer about a girl that went to her grandpa's house, but her grandpa was a bit older so she was bored. But on the last day her grandpa surprised her and they went to Disneyland. I like to read on Epic books, too.
I like doing art and spending time with my family. This summer I was on a swim team, did volleyball, played tennis, and golf. I like to make cool electronics with my grandpa, I call him Sarge. We have made a catapult and a plane that's powered by a rubber band, but the rubber band broke!
I can not wait for the BBQ and being your student this year.

My name is Emett. I like to play soccer, build Lego sets, and I love superheroes. The most recent book I've been reading is all about Marvel superheroes. This summer we went on a trip to the Oregon coast and took a trip to Leavenworth. I've also been playing a lot with my neighborhood friends.
Soon we will be adopting two kittens! I'm very excited!

Hi my name is Erik I like hockey , and other sports. I enjoy reading, playing YU GI OH, card games, spending time with my family. This summer I did seven or eight camps. 2 hockey camps, 4 weeks of YMCA camp 1 week of soccer camp, and I spent 1 week with my grandma. How was your summer?

Thank you for writing! I've always enjoyed hockey, but I've only ever played floor hockey. You'll have to tell me more about it. You went to a lot of camps - wow, how fun!
My summer was busy and fun too. I'm training for a race so I did a lot of trail and road running, as well as hiking. I also did several shorter races as well to prepare.

I'm glad you wrote. Aren't Legos the best?! Would you believe I still have mine from when I was a kid? I enjoy the Marvel superheros as well. I collected X-Men when I was younger.
We went to Leavenworth as well. Did you do any tubing or rafting? Do you have names picked out for the kittens? That IS exciting!

I'm Keaton. I enjoy soccer, art and playing with my friends. This summer I've recently been reading Anne of Green Gables. I like Anne because she's smart and funny. We have one dog named Winston he's 3 and we got a new puppy named Millie and she's 17 weeks. They are both golden retrievers. Are youngest dog likes getting into the hosta plant outside but we're training her not to do that. She's really cute anyway.

Soccer is such a great sport - you have to use good strategy and have good endurance and grit! We have a dog too. I really like puppies, how fun for you and your family.

Have you read the Land of Stories series? I also think you might like the Judy Moody, or the Ramona series by Beverly Cleary is also really good!

When we went to Leavenworth we did tubing. It was fun!
Our kittens are named Lincoln and Moose. They've been very fun to play with since we got them!

My name is Irene and I am excited for this school year. I like to play soccer with my friends like Stella and Keaton. My favorite books are chapter books and graphic novels and I like Dog Man. I like to play games with my family like Settlers of Catan, Uno, and Sleeping Queens. I also like going on trips. This summer we went to Bend and Joseph, Oregon. We camped and then stayed in a cabin and then slept in a teepee. I liked the food at the teepee place. See you soon!

My name is Avery. I can not wait to be in Mr. Wolfe's class. I love to travel, bike, run, play games, sail, paddleboard and kayak. This summer I was in Suessical the musical, it's very fun to be in a play. This summer I went to farm camp, my mom also works on the farm. Harry Potter auidobooks are my favorite. This summer we went on short trips to Whidby Island, Lake Chelan, Penrose Point, and Blake Island. I like to play with my cousins when I'm on vacation. See you all tomorrow for the first day of third grade.

I have a dog named Leo and 3 pet turtles named Flash, Yoshi and Marcus. I went to the Oregon Coast it was a lot of fun!

My name is Theo I went to Bali and Lombok in Indonesia on the other side of the world! and Iowa and Minnesota to visit my grandparents for summer.
My favorite books that I have read this summer are Space Case and Spy School. They are mysteries by Stuart Gibbs.

I enjoy playing soccer and basketball. I also enjoy doing art and doing cursive.I love pets and I used to have two pets but my cat got put to sleep, but I still have a 14 year old dog he is a boxer,pointer mix. This summer I almost completed the whole Diary of a Wimpy Kid series.
I like them because he and his two brothers are really funny!
I am also a really big fan of Harry Potter,and I love Griffin door. My favorite color is Blue.
What do you recommend I read next?
I also want to do soccer and basketball in the Olympics when I grow up.

Jones and Magic Tree House. my favorite book is Pirates Past Noon. I love to go to Great Wolf lodge and the fair. We had 12 cats then 9 cats and now 6 cats.
