Robby's Move to Georgia

Good Morning Class and Mr. Wolfe,
I wanted to write before I go catch the bus. Our day starts a lot earlier here. I have to get up at 5 am now. I leave to catch the bus at 6 in the morning. It takes about 20 mins to drive to the bus stop, and about an hour bus ride to get to school. If papa drives us, then it's about 30 mins to school. School starts at 8 am, with breakfast at 7:30. Papa is driving us to school today, but I still had to get up early, because I forgot to get an assignment done, and he is helping me. I making a timeline of my life for my Social Studies assignment. It starts with almost nothing, and at the end, it has a lot of stuff.

My teacher's name is Mrs Fausel, but it sounds like fossil. I really like her class. It's different, but we are still doing some of the same stuff that we did in your class.

My new school’s playground is different. The playground has more slides. We also have a big spiderweb thing to climb on.

What is the name of your school and the town you moved to? - The school I go to is called Taylor County Upper Elementary School. It's sometimes hard to remember all of that. The town we moved to is called Montezuma. It's only 4 1/2 square miles Papa says. It's really small. We only have 3 stoplights in the whole city.

How is the rest of your family liking Georgia? - Everyone is liking it. We are all still getting used to stuff. My grandpa Wayne's friend had a puppies in March, so next month, my grandpa is bringing us a new puppy. We are all really excited. I don't think our cat will be though.

It sounds like you have a lot of fun stuff is happening. What did everyone have to do for the Reader's Theater? Did they have to act out books or something? Is the "Night at the Wax Museum" like the movie where everything comes to life? I miss Lowell, but I'm liking my new school. Say "HI" to everyone in class for me. Papa says that I have to start getting ready for school now. I hope you all have a great day.
