Hi, my name is Mykah, and my name is Audrey.  In school we are doing cursive, math, and subtraction with three digit numbers.  We have been having a streak with our specialists.  We have 7 perfect 5 Scores in a row!  If we keep it up, we get to do a special project for most of the day!  Third Grade Rocks!

Hi!  Our names are Kye and Mason.  We are in third grade.  Third grade is awesome!  It has lots of cool things.  We're also learning cursive.

My favorite subject is writing.  Reading a good book always helps me expand my ideas. Mr. Wolfe is a really funny teacher!  He has some awesome things to do with us.  He's so nice!

My favorite subject is math, writing, and reading.  I also like the Puppy Patrol Series a lot.  Mr. Wolfe is the best teacher ever!!!

Sophia & Sidney's Awesome Perfect BLOG

Dear Reader,

We are Sidney D. and Sophia G. from Mr. Wolfe's awesome third grade class.

Our favorite subjects are math and writing.  In writing we are learning cursive and our favorite letters are:
h, a, o, and j.   In math, we are learning how to subtract and regroup three digit numbers.

Remember, this is Sophia and this is Sidney.  P.S.  Mr. Wolfe is so so so handsome.

The BLOG

In third grade it is a lot different than second grade.  One thing is we're learning cursive.  In second grade we learned to do good handwriting.  In third grade we are learning different math.  In second grade we did not do rounding.  In second grade we didn't have something like Wolfe Bucks, auctions, or free choice.  In second grade we did not have DOL.  We sit at tables, but each person has their own desk.  This year we have a theme.  In second grade we did not have a theme.  This year our theme is Harry Potter and castles.  This year we have winning tables and student of the week.  The student of the week gets a lot of privileges.  In Mr. Wolfe's class we do different birthday traditions.  Everybody has their own reading level.  In Mrs. Berger's class we didn't have netbooks.  Third grade rocks!

September News from Noah & Devin!

I’m forward to learning how to write my name in cursive.  Third grade is better than second grade because Mr. Wolfe has netbooks.  We have been doing DOL, AR, Cursive, and our Little Book Report.  We have been doing reading, math, and we’re learning about planets.    –Noah

I’m looking forward to writing the ABC’s in cursive.  I like third grade because I’ll learn cursive for my name.  I hope I learn fractions in third grade.  I want to learn higher levels of multiplication.  We have learned 3 letters in cursive so far.   -Devin

School is out for Summer!

This is a photo of the Hedden Running Team at the Sound to Narrows Race in Tacoma the day after school got out.  I'm really proud of all their hard work, especially the kids from our own class who came and did so well!

Hello Hedden Hawk Members!

Hello Hawk members

We are Evelyn and Samantha. We are worked on tangrams this year.. The books we've read are Patricia Polacco books at the beginning of reading class. For read aloud we finished a long book called Peter and the Star Catchers. Evelyn and I are best friends. Here is something for you too know. On Wednesdays’ we have books for a buck. Make sure you send a dollar or two with your child. We also have movie night and come volunteer at our school.

Snow!

HI class this is Abby.W and Nick.R

And this is what we did a couple of weeks ago - it SNOWED!!! Nick built a igloo and made a snowman. Abby had a snow ball fight  and drank hot coco. We are happy to be in are awesome teacher’s class and we have a awesome class, bye guys.

What's up?  This is Ryker and Jordon.  We are in Mr. Wolfe's third grade class.  Our teacher in awesome.  Also, we have our own class netbooks.  We also have crazy hats that we get to wear on our birthdays!

We worked on a lot of regrouping with subtraction.  We are working on geometry now and quadrilaterals.

January News from Kalie & Mahlia

Hi!  This is Kalie and Mahlia.  We have been learning from our social studies book From Sea to Shining Sea.  The cool teacher of ours, Mr. Wolfe has been reading it with us.  How are all of you doing?  I hope you're all well!  We also hope you all had a great Christmas!  We can't wait to keep reading our new story in reading, The War with Grandpa.  We have also been learning a lot of regrouping in math.
