Weekly Update!

Hello Parents!

This past week we completed our solar maps in science.  We also finished our unit about the planets.  Next, we are going to do rocks and minerals!  For math we are practicing with our timings, and looked for polygon patterns and also had weather reporters and recorded the temperature and found the difference.

Read alouds have been pretty exciting!  We finished Castle in the Attic and Junie B. - Jingle Bells, Batman Smells, P.S. So does May...  Mr. Wolfe is going to start a new book now.  We have been looking for irony in the stories.

OUR Class Blog

What's up Parents and Hedden Hawks?

This is Anna and Irene.  We just had a really awesome field trip last week!  It was at Pioneer Farms.  We got to dress up, milk a cow, go on a horse ride, go to pioneer school, jump in hay, and more! 

When we were on the bus, Mr. Wolfe gave us a I Spy paper to keep us busy.  Mr. Wolfe brought his iPad to take pictures of us.  You can look at the pictures on our class website.  Check it out!

When we got back we went to an assembly for Veteran's Day.  We got to see teh choir sing some songs and hear where the different veterans came from.  It was cool!

We like our class, and that's all.

November!

Hi!  This is Emily and Elee.  We started a new author in reading.  Last month we did Bill Peet books, today we started Robert Munsch.  We also started a new read aloud, it's called The Castle in the Attic by Elizabeth Winthrop.

Mr. Wolfe is funny.  Mr. Wolfe has cool things.  He has a bopper.  He bops people with it, it's funny.

Our Great Week!

Hi, it's Zack and Connor.  Last Friday we had our Harvest Party.  We had fun!  We bobbed for apples, had a powdered donut eating contest on strings, and played other games that were awesome!  We also had snacks.

Last Monday we finished the October Number Corner in math.  This week we started a much different Number Corner.

Hello Hedden Hawks!  What are you up to?

Well, just so you know, Mr. Wolfe is THE BEST TEACHER EVER!!!

We're doing a Powerpoint in computer lab about ourselves. 

M.W.I.S.C. means Mr. Wolfe is so cool.  p.s. he is handsome too.

We are also reading The House on Hackman's Hill.  My favorite book is The Kid in the Red Jacket.

We just finished publishing our writing.  Well, that's all we have time for!  Bye!

Our Class Blog

Hi, this is Michael and Grant.  We are in Mr. Wolfe's class.  He is very cool.  He is the best teacher in the world.  We have got Buddy four times in a row, so now we get to keep him forever, and we have four playground balls, BOOM! 

After second recess, Mr. Wolfe reads us a story.  We have 26 kids in our class.  We also have to take an AR test once a month.  See ya, POW!!!

Hey Hedden Hawks!

This is Emily D. and Anna M.  We have been doing a fundraiser to get a dog named Buddy.  WE have had Buddy in our class 4 times.  Everytime we get Buddy our class gets 1 new playground ball.  We will win Buddy if we turn in the most fundraiser tickets!  We turn in tickets when we sell items. 

We are also going to start Daily Oral Language tests.  We started science on Wednesday.  We are learning about our solar system.  So check out our class BLOG!

News from Nico & Aaron:

Our teacher was a librarian, now he is a teacher.  He is the best teacher ever.  He is German.  He does Totally Useless Information before we leave everyday.  We are the only class with hooks in our cubbies.  We got Buddy the fundraiser dog in our class 2 times.  We got 2 tiny little stuffed Buddy dogs as well.

Hello Fife School District!

This is Alla, the student of the week, with my buddy Rylee.

We would like to tell you about the cool and fun stuff we're doing in our classroom.  We do Wolfe Bucks where we do auctions 2 times each month.  Mr. Wolfe read us The Kid in the Red Jacket.  It was a really funny book!  We are reading Wayside School now.  It is really funny so far.  And we have the best 3rd grade teacher EVER!
